Rustproofing Treatment Care
- After application, allow a curing time of 7–10 days. Avoid taking the vehicle off-road or onto the beach during this period.
- Keep the vehicle clean from mud. Do not immerse any part in salt water or carry corrosive chemicals.
- Under the warranty, rust is defined as structural/perforation (a hole) of a metal panel that originates from the inside of the metal panel from the window level down.
- Any claim must be lodged within 30 days of the rust appearing with MotorOne, in accordance with the warranty claim procedure.
- The vehicle must be inspected annually by the authorised selling dealer or an authorised MotorOne inspection agent.
- Failure to have your vehicle inspected annually will void the warranty. Please refer to the warranty for full terms and conditions.
- Inspections must occur within 30 days before or after the anniversary of your treatment purchase.
- Your inspection schedule (contained in the warranty) must be presented to the authorised selling dealer or MotorOne inspection agent for completion and signing.
- Keep the inspection receipt from the inspection agent for all inspections.
